Glossary of Terms
PThe individual designated by each member organization to act as the official liaison with LACNIC on administrative, institutional, and electoral matters.
Rights
- To represent the organization in election processes, including casting votes and submitting or managing nominations, where applicable.
- To receive official communications related to LACNIC membership and institutional processes.
Responsibilities
- To act as the official point of contact for all membership-related communications.
- To ensure that all actions carried out on the MiLACNIC platform (voting, nominations, or other procedures) comply with the regulations in force.
- To keep the organization's contact information updated with LACNIC.
- To ensure that the organization is properly informed about electoral and administrative processes.
An individual who submits a nomination to be part of a LACNIC statutory or community body, and whose nomination is currently under evaluation.
An individual whose nomination has been validated by the Electoral Commission and who is included in the official list of candidates submitted for voting by the LACNIC members.
An elected individual who officially assumes and exercises the duties of the position to which they were chosen.
The list of organizations eligible to participate in an election, either by casting a vote or submitting nominations. The voters registry is composed of member organizations, not individuals.
