Who can vote and how?

LACNIC members: Internet Service Providers (ISPs), End Users, and Founding Members.

To be eligible to vote, an organization must be current with their annual membership fees on the date specified for the publication of the voters’ registry.

Each member organization has a designated representative registered in the LACNIC (Nic Brasil – Nic Mexico) database. This is the organization's membership contact, who will be responsible for voting.

Once the voting period opens, the organization's membership contact will be able to vote through the Mi LACNIC Portal (milacnic.lacnic.net).

This option is not available to organizations in Brazil, as they do not have access to Mi LACNIC. Instead, these organizations will receive an email containing their voting link.

Voting will take place from 7 to 14 March, using LACNIC's election software.

The number of votes for each organization ranges from 1 to 11, depending on their membership category (the IP address space assigned to the organization). See Number of votes for each organization
