- Reason for the nomination: I am nominating Gabriel for the LACNIC Board, as I have seen his commitment and the work he does at LACNIC and at LAC-IX.
I have seen how, as leader of LAC-IX, he has managed to develop the community and bring together dozens of IXPs across the region, creating technical support programs and organizing events to bring the IXPs closer to the rest of the regional Internet community.
For this reason, I believe his continuity on the LACNIC Board of Directors will be beneficial for the organization as well as for the Latin American and Caribbean Internet community.

- Reason for the nomination: I am nominating Lito Ibarrra to the LACNIC Board because of his vision, great initiative and experience, knowledge of the LACNIC community and of LACNIC as an organization.
As a Winner of the LACNIC Lifetime Achievement Award, former member of the LACNIC Board, former member of the ICANN Board, Father of the Internet in El Salvador and with broad experience obtained while serving in the multiple leadership positions he has held throughout his life, Lito's global vision of the Internet ecosystem will bring a different point of view to the LACNIC Board, one that will benefit LACNIC initiatives and the discussions that take place within the Board.
In addition, Lito will give a louder voice to Central America, a very important part of the LACNIC community with no current representation on the Board. Lito has shown that he has the key values required of a director: honesty, ethics, transparency, and a constant willingness to work for the community. It would be an honor to have Lito on the LACNIC Board.
