2023 Elections: LACNIC Board of Directors

November 1st, 2023

The Electoral Commission of LACNIC announces that Maria del Carmen Denis Polanco, Gabriel Adonaylo and Lito Ibarra have been elected to occupy three (3) positions in the LACNIC Board of Directors for the period of 3 years since January 1st, 2024 to December 31, 2026.

Interim Results

The interim results will be subject to audit by the Electoral Commission and potential complaints about the online voting process:

Provisional results are published, subject to audit by the E.C and the voters	26 October	18:00 UTC
Voters audit their votes and submit their complaints about the voting	31 october and 1st november	18:00 UTC
If no complaints are received, official results and the CE's letter certifying the results are published	1st november	18:00 UTC

The interim results are published to avoid the disclosure of unofficial results through channels external to LACNIC before the voters have had the chance to audit their votes.

Under the provisions of the LACNIC Bylaws and the calendar defined for this election process, elections were held from 19 to 26 October, to select the candidates who will fill three (3) seats on the LACNIC Board Directors.

The voting period is now closed, the votes have been tallied, and the following candidates have been elected:
