Candidate Bio and Desirable Suitability Criteria:

Always involved in IT and Telecommunications, Hernán Moguilevsky has been part of the Networking team at PIT Chile as Senior Network Engineer since 2020.
From 2013 to 2019, he served as Network Administrator and Head of Network Operations as part of the permanent technical staff of CABASE, the Argentine IXP.

Prior to this, he provided independent network consulting services to various companies and organizations.

He has earned international certifications and completed different courses in the field of Telecommunications.

As for his work with the internet community, Hernán Moguilevsky is part of the LACNOG Program Committee, is the author of policy proposal LAC-2020-10 and, in recent years, has represented several projects of interest to the community.

Candidate Bio and Desirable Suitability Criteria:

Sergio Rojas began his relationship with IT back in 1997 when the Internet was first deployed in his native country (Paraguay), working for some of the market's pioneer ISPs. He has also served as IT manager for a United Nations project and IT consultant for GTZ, the German Technical Cooperation Agency.

In the past few years, he served as Head of LACNIC's Registration Service department (2009-2020), where his tasks included the administration of Internet number resources.

He is currently one of the members of the IANA Process Review Committee in representation of the Latin American and Caribbean region, an honorary position he took on in January 2021.

Sergio Rojas has a vast knowledge of the Internet ecosystem, especially of the Policy Development Process. This is my reason for nominating this candidate.

Marcela Alejandra Orbiscay

Candidate Bio and Desirable Suitability Criteria:

Marcela Orbiscay has a degree in Information Systems specializing in Telematics. She works at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Mendoza, Argentina. She is a member of the National Technological University's ICT Research and Development Group (gridTICs), where she works on research projects related to IPv6 and IoT.

To complement her technical education, she has a degree in Public Administration and professional knowledge in public policy design, implementation, and evaluation.

She is currently a member of the Board of Internet Society Argentina and co-chair of the IETFDay Workshop at the Argentine IT Conference (Jornadas Argentinas de Informática, JAIIO-SADIO Argentina). She is also a part of the LACNOG Program Committee and co-chair of the LACNOG IoT list. She serves a mentor within the framework of LACNIC's Mentoring Program, which promotes the participation and leadership of women in the LACNIC community and the Internet ecosystem.

She has been an active participant in LACNIC and LACNOG meetings since 2011.

Marcela Orbiscay has been a member of the R&D team at gridTICs in Mendoza, Argentina, for more than 13 years, during which she has proven to be an excellent collaborator, highly competent in the field of Internet standardization and governance. Also worth noting is the fact that she is particularly committed to the principles of creating a healthy Internet for future generations.
