Group of Professionals Selected to Participate in LACNIC's Mentoring Program

LACNIC's IT Women project is pleased to announce the participants selected to participate in the second edition of its mentoring program. This initiative seeks to strengthen the professional development of the women who are part of the Latin American and Caribbean technical Internet community, promoting their involvement in LACNIC's different participation spaces.

Debora Santos, Gabriela Gutiérrez Lara, Gracieth Valenzuela, Kiana Marie Castro, Malisa Richards, the participants selected to be part of the mentoring program, will seek to produce technical papers on various challenges, experiences, and solutions related to Internet stability and security.

These women will be joined by Sanie Benitez, one of the candidates selected after the last call for proposals, who will be completing her research during this 2021 edition.

In addition, these participants will receive training on effective communication and professional development, as well as access to the courses available on the LACNIC Campus. The women participating in the program will also have the chance to present the results of their studies during a session organized by IT Women within the framework of the LACNIC 37 event.
