2022 Customer Satisfaction Survey

Users of the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC) have expressed very good levels of satisfaction, with satisfaction scores practically at ideal levels, according to the study conducted by international consulting firm MERCOPLUS.

Approval and satisfaction levels have been maintained in all the measurements carried out since 2014, which means that users value and approve the work that has been done.

  • Overall, 96% of LACNIC members surveyed in 2022 are satisfied or very satisfied with LACNIC.
  • Very good levels of satisfaction with the organization were reported across the different segments defined for this new measurement (large members, small and medium-sized members, and end users), which translates into high levels of approval of what the organization offers.
  • An analysis of the results shows that clients highly value and express overall satisfaction with the service and that they rate the trainings and courses offered by LACNIC positively.
  • The survey shows that the levels of loyalty toward the organization are increasing, which provides continued evidence of the strong relationship that exists between LACNIC and its members. Based on the distribution of clients by geographic region (Caribbean, Central America, South America), loyalty continues at very good levels. According to MERCOPLUS, clients in the Caribbean and larger companies expressed the highest levels of loyalty.
  • The MiLACNIC portal has the best knowledge/use ratio. Meanwhile, resource assignment, virtual training and payment of invoices round out the podium.
  • Members who requested resources are very satisfied with what they received. The indicator has improved with respect to the previous measurement, which shows that the work that LACNIC has been doing to improve the experience is paying off.
  • The survey shows an improvement in satisfaction (93%) with the communication channels used by LACNIC.
