"Great Place to Work 2020": LACNIC, One of the Best Places to Work in Uruguay

For the ninth consecutive year, LACNIC was recognized as one of the best places to work in Uruguay in the category of up to 150 employees. This time, LACNIC placed 5th in the ranking prepared by international consultants Great Place to Work® (GPTW).

According to the survey conducted by GPTW®, 93% of staff members reported that LACNIC is an excellent place to work. Aspects highlighted by LACNIC employees included the effective leadership and proximity of the organization’s leaders, teamwork, and pride in their collective efforts and achievements.

“I’d like to thank all our collaborators for their efforts during this year marked by the pandemic, and for their commitment to their work and to building this spirit of collaboration to continue making LACNIC an excellent place to work,” said Oscar Robles, the organization’s CEO.

“This was a special year during which the pandemic forced us to work remotely, and we stressed the importance of looking after our collaborators in order to maintain a positive and healthy work environment,” observed Florencia Bianchi, People Engagement Manager.
