Software Developer
LACNIC, the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry, invites candidates to apply for this position.
LACNIC is an international non-government organization based in Montevideo, Uruguay, responsible for assigning and managing Internet number resources for the region of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Its mission is to lead the creation of synergies and initiatives for the construction of an open, stable and secure Internet at the service of the economic, social and cultural development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Goals
To analyze, design and develop software solutions for different areas and projects within the organization.
Responsibilities
To develop software projects for the Head of Development in response to the demands and expectations of internal clients.
- To analyze system user requirements.
- To analyze working frameworks and methodologies for the software team.
Qualifications
Technical degree or advanced student of Systems Engineering, or similar qualification.
Trained in systems development methodologies; knowledge of agile software development methodologies will be considered a plus.
Experience
At least one (1) year of experience performing similar tasks will be valued.
Languages
- Proficient in English (required)
- Portuguese (will be considered a plus)
Additional Mandatory Requirements
Domiciled in or willing to relocate to Montevideo, Uruguay
Availability to travel abroad
