Biographical information:

PhD in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), researcher in the field of Smart Cities, Smart Campus, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Security Metrics (CVSS) and Risk Analysis through the SecureCloud project (H2020 ). Experience in the NECS project (H2020) at the University of Trento, Italy, from 2016 to 2017. Participated in the HP DESDAC project through the Computer Sciences masters program at the University of Pernambuco (UFPE), researching in the field of data center reliability and availability modeling and assessment. Specialization in Public Management by Paraíba State University (2005) and degree in Data Processing by Escola de Educação Renovada de Paraíba (1998). Has taught at university level in the field of information security, networks and infrastructure, and served as systems analyst at the Paraíba Data Processing Company (1992 - 2008) and as Information Technology consultant for the João Pessoa Municipal Chamber. Experience as owner of the Infowork micro-company (Multimedia Communications Service). Experience in Computer Science with an emphasis on Computer Networks, Performance Evaluation and Cybersecurity, working especially on the following topics: Computer Security, Electronic Voting, Computer Networks, Petri Networks, Capacity Planning and Synthetic Load Generation, Smart Cities, Smart Campus, Big Data, IoT, Privacy.

Reason for the nomination:

Consultant and owner of an ISP since 2009. Over his professional career, he has acquired extensive experience in the field of Information Technology since 1992. He also has extensive academic experience in the field of Computer Science, both as a student of a specialization, a masters and a PhD program and as a teacher at university level.

Currently, his participation as an IT consultant in his ISP has led him to seek new challenges with LACNIC, to contribute and learn, facing the new challenges.
