LACNIC 35

In coordination with Veracruzana University, host of our upcoming event, LACNIC has decided that LACNIC 35 will be held online from 10 to 14 May 2021, the date originally planned for the meeting.

Although we had hoped to meet with the Latin American and Caribbean Internet community face-to-face in Veracruz, Mexico, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forces us to continue to prioritize the community’s health and well-being. In this sense, LACNIC understands that the current situation still involves a great deal of uncertainty and that, as stressed by the World Health Organization, the risks are too high to justify a physical meeting on that date.

The LACNIC staff is designing improvements to help make LACNIC 35 an even more successful meeting, with new forms of interaction and a renewed agenda that will add greater value to the event.

We will inform you once the final details have been decided and registration for the event is open.
