In-Person LACNIC 33 Event Has Been Canceled

LACNIC announces that the in-person activities of the LACNIC 33 event scheduled to take place on 4-8 May in Cali, Colombia, have been canceled. This decision was made after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic and the Colombian government announced a health emergency status.

The measures adopted by Colombia to prevent the spread of the disease include the cancellation of events with more than 500 participants at least until 30 May.

Following the guidelines of the WHO and considering the restrictions and recommendations issued in this pandemic containment phase, LACNIC is canceling its LACNIC 33 in-person event.
