Biography

Ariel Weher is a technology and telecommunications professional.

His work:

Ariel Weher lives in Argentina, where he works as a Senior Network Systems Administrator. He also provides consulting services to multiple companies that operate in a wide array of markets in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has been an Open Source user and evangelist for more than 20 years and always strives to remain at the forefront of new technologies, standards and protocols.

Participation in the community:

Ariel Wehler has been participating in open projects and events organized by LACNIC since 2010. He has taught IPv6 tutorials at eight different LACNIC events. He is currently a member of the Board of the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Group (LACNOG). He is the Chair of LACNOG's Best Current Operating Practices (BCOP) working group. He served as co-chair of the PDP during the period 2018-2020.
