MiLACNIC: New Membership Module

A new section with additional services has been added to the MiLACNIC portal (milacnic.lacnic.net). In this section, registered users will be able to:

• Register automatically and free of charge to our online courses (Campus), in-person training activities, webinars and annual meetings.
• Keep up with the participation status of their collaborators in the organization's online activities and their presence at events and assemblies.
• Manage fellowships and arrange their trips to LACNIC events.
• Obtain information on the various elections to appoint members of the commissions and the LACNIC Board.

The new Membership tab has been added to MiLACNIC so that member organizations can have access to all the news on the activities in which they can participate and find information on their interactions with LACNIC, including both general and statutory participation.

The new section also lists the benefits that each organization receives with their membership, such as seats to participate in different courses, the right to nominate and vote in LACNIC elections, the right to participate in the assembly, and others.

In addition to receiving notifications to access the portal, users will now see a Pending sub-tab where they will be able to see all the actions they can perform on the day they login. Another way to obtain this information by clicking on the bell (top right of your screen), where the number of news items you have not read will be specified.
This improvement was introduced in the third year that MiLACNIC has been operational, a portal created by LACNIC's Services and R&D departments which already has 6,381 registered users.
