Registration for the Testing V6 Course is now open

The LACNIC Training Center announces that registration for the first edition of the TestingV6 course to be held in 2016 is now open. This course is an e-learning initiative of the Regional Internet Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean that will be available through the LACNIC Campus (http://campus.lacnic.net).

The course will include four modules that participants may complete in their own time and at their own pace and will last from 21 June to 16 August.

The "TestingV6 ? 1st 2016 Edition" course has been designed for anyone interested in learning how to test software products and components to check their proper operation over IPv4 and IPv6, as well as in dual-stack environments.

It is based on the Certiv6 methodology, a tool designed by LACNIC and CES (the Uruguayan Software Testing Center) that allows checking the compatibility of systems operating on IPv6 and detecting hidden issues and future risks posed by the coexistence of the two protocols.

The course will have a total workload of 120 hours, including eight weeks of classes and a final examination.

LACNIC members will receive a 20% discount on the registration fee (USD 650). Payments via PayPal are also accepted.
