Brief biography of the candidate

Elio Montes Chavez was born in Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia in 1982. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2005. For the last 12 years he has been involved in technological projects to advance internet usage and penetration in Bolivia. He has been Founding CEO/General Manager of Digital TV, an ISP and CATV operator in the city Santa Cruz since 2009, which has become on the most dynamic ISPs in Bolivia. He is a big believer that giving access to Internet to the majority of Bolivia will help and bolster economic development in his country and the rest of Latin America.
