PROGRAM FOR SUPPORTING EXTERNAL INITIATIVES
"Strengthening the Work of the Internet Community in our Region"
LACNIC believes that these opportunities in the field of ICTs are important and, as such, supports organizations by providing small non-reimbursable grants to contribute to achieve them.
Goal:
To support regional organizations in holding events (seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.) as well as in producing widely distributed printed materials. How and When can I Apply?
Calls for proposals are summoned each year in the month of December. The requested funds must be executed during the year immediately following their application and be part of an explicit plan by the applying organization. To apply for funds, please request an application form at proyectos@lacnic.net.
Results Notification
After an evaluation process that takes into account the priority areas identified each year by LACNIC, beneficiaries are notified whether or not they have been selected to receive the requested funds.
Execution of Funds:
The organization receiving the funds will have to meet a number of requirements in terms of communicating the activities involving LACNIC's support.
Evaluation:
After execution of the funds, the organization must complete a form showing the activities that were carried out and duly justifying how the received funds were applied. This form will be sent to the organization in due time.
