Wardner Maia

Wardner Maia completed his studies in electrical engineering specializing in electronics and electrotechnics. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the Educational Foundation of Barretos and then went on to complete graduate studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and earn his master’s degree at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. He has various specializations in the field of telecommunications; since 1995, he has specifically been working on telecommunication applications with a focus on Information Technology.

Wardner Maia is founding member of the Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Service Providers (ABRINT).  ABRINT brings together more than 1,000 companies and is the largest association of its kind in Latin America. Most of its members are small and medium-sized companies.

As Technical Director at MD Brasil – IT and Telecom, Wardner Maia works primarily in consulting, projects and training activities across Brazil, so he has ample knowledge of the different realities of the sector in various parts of the country. In addition to its activities in Brazil, MD Brasil has had the opportunity to work in Europe and Latin America.
