IT-women session

LACNIC is working to identify and remove obstacles that may be hindering greater participation and representation of women in the organization's institutional life. IT Women is an open space for members of the community committed to this goal to come together to share their experiences and ideas.

In this face-to-face session of IT Women, Adriana Rivero, Head of Community Development, will present the initiatives LACNIC is implementing as part of the organization's efforts to promote diversity and address the digital gender divide.

Ma. Julia Morales will then present the data collected through a survey among those who are part of IT Women for the purpose of characterizing the participation dynamics of the women that make up this group.

The session is open to the participation of both men and women interested in joining the initiative.
