Leadership and Communication: The Challenge of Creating an Impact with Our Words

This session will address the challenges of rhetoric and storytelling which are crucial to empowering our leadership, particularly now that many aspects of our lives take place online. Today, we are part of a new scenario where we daily witness new communication devices, formats, situations and diverse audiences. This workshop will present techniques and recommendations to help develop our flexibility for communicating in different situations, with an emphasis on design, public speaking and expression skills.

The workshop will be presented by Dr. Manuel Libenson, an expert who specializes in Rhetoric and Storytelling and a professor at the University of San Andrés and the University of Buenos Aires.

This activity is organized by IT Women and open to the public in general. IT Women workshops seek to expose the barriers that limit the participation of women in the LACNIC community and offer tools to empower female leadership within the technical community.
