Lee Hetherington

Lee is Edge Strategy Manager for the Edge Team at Facebook, primarily responsible for Facebook’s Edge and Caching strategy in EMEA, specialized in network architecture, peering, interconnection, negotiation and strategy. This year Lee has taken taken a broader responsibility, focusing on global strategy and product development across Facebook’s Edge and CDN. Lee is a board member of LINX (The London Internet Exchange); and was chosen in 2018 as Top 50 Edge Computing Influencers by Data Economy Magazine. Prior to Facebook, Lee served as IP Network Strategist for Europe at Amazon Web Services and previously as Principal Network Architect at Symantec. Lee is a graduate of Tewkesbury School in Gloucester, England.
