Promoting the Role of the Technical Community in Internet Governance

The session will address the basic concepts of Internet Governance and the role of the technical community as a key actor within the multistakeholder model.

It will also explore the different ways in which the community can participate in LACNIC's various discussions and spaces, particularly the Líderes 2.0 Program, and will share the results of one of the research initiatives selected in the 2020 call for proposals.

Relevant members of the ecosystem will participate in this session and share their perspectives as well as their experiences after participating, debating, and having an impact on Internet Governance from a local, regional, and global perspective.
