The IPv6 Company

Jordi Palet Martínez has been working in computers, networking, and telecomm business during the past 30 years. Since 2001, he has attended all the IETF meetings and contributed to the standardization process (co-)authoring numerous documents, mainly related to IPv6.

Over the past 15 years, he has been involved in the RIRs policy making process, having actively participated and (co-)authored numerous proposals, which many of them have been accepted by the relevant communities, in meetings in all the regions.

Jordi volunteered his time to assist all the RIRs in training activities, mainly related to IPv6, which started in Africa and continued in the rest of the regions.

He was the main responsible for the creation of the IPv6 Task Forces in many countries in Europe, Latin America & Caribbean, and the rest of the regions, which helped to increase the IPv6 knowledge and team building, which highly impacted in the deployment in every country/region.

Jordi has had considerable experience working in the development, promotion and deployment of IPv6, including numerous R&D projects.

He has been engaged with IPv6 commercial customers/projects for the last 16 years, including ISPs, government networks, universities, corporate networks, data center, SMEs networks and regulators.
