WELCOME TO LACNIC 26 LACNOG 2016

LACNIC 26 - LACNOG 2016 will be held in San Jose, Costa Rica, from September 26th to 30th, 2016. The meeting will take place at the Hotel San Jose Palacio.

As usual, the LACNIC meeting will take place in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Forum, LACNOG, in its 2016 edition. . The general program consists of one day of technical training workshops on new technologies, security, and IPv6 deployment, as well as four days of lectures and panel discussions on current issues and keynote presentations by leading international experts.

Activities also include the Public Policy Forum, where participants discuss policy proposals on how to manage Internet number resources in the region.

LACNIC 26

The agenda of LACNIC 26 will have the IPv6 as an enabling technology of the Internet of Things, the digital interconnection of everyday objects with the Internet as the overall central theme.

LACNOG 2016

This forum aims at discussing and exchanging technical information and experiences in network operation and infrastructure development, as well as promoting the discussion of technical implementation issues and business practices among members of the community. Global and regional experts will present numerous topics of interest, bringing the latest news and sharing their practical experiences in solving operational problems, all within an environment that will favor the exchange of information and mutually beneficial debates.

FIRST

FIRST technical colloquia provide a discussion forum for FIRST members and guests to share information on vulnerabilities, incidents, tools and other issues affecting the operation of incident response teams and security.
