This tutorial is aimed at LACNIC members.

It will briefly address the following questions: What is a CSIRT? What is computer security incident management? How do these teams cooperate with the community in general?

As an example of this cooperation, LACNIC CSIRT will present the MiLACNIC Security Module, which is where information on the resources involved in computer security events is submitted. Participants will work interactively to analyze this data and to understand how the identified threats can be corrected based on this analysis.
