Reason for the nomination: My motivation for joining the LACNIC Board stems from a commitment to strengthening an open, stable, and secure Internet, fundamental pillars for the evolution of critical sectors such as public health and academia. Representing the Risaralda University Mental Hospital, I bring a strategic vision regarding the importance of technological infrastructure for delivering essential services and protecting sensitive data.
My goal is to contribute to the development of policies that promote IPv6 deployment, cybersecurity, and participatory governance, ensuring that the needs of institutions in the interior of our region are heard. I aim to build bridges between the technical community and the health sector to foster digital innovation and reduce access gaps. My vision is a robust Internet that serves as a driver of social well-being and equitable development throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
