He has extensive knowledge of fixed and mobile networks, broadband Internet administration, management, and operation, dedicated and wholesale, management of MPLS backbone networks, ISP node, international channel, MVNOs, CDNs, OTTs, datacenter, peering, IXPs, and IPV4 and IPV6 addressing, both administration and planning.

Andrés is a leader in designing effective, high-impact sales and company positioning strategies, which earned him recognition as one of the 100 Best Marketing Managers in Latin America (Revista Gerente, 2019).
He has worked at COLVATEL E.S.P. as a Planning Engineer and Project Manager, and also at EMPRESA DE TELOCOMUNICACIONES DE BOGOTÁ ETB as a Backbone Professional. At INTERNEXA, he worked as an IP Business Line Specialist for the company's regional operations (Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil and Argentina) and later as Global Marketing Director for the same operations. He was then Regional Marketing and Product Manager at IFX NETWORKS, serving 16 countries in the Americas; Marketing and Product Manager for Ecuador, Colombia, and Panama at TELCONET; Product Portfolio Manager for all of the Americas at GLOBENET; and Chief Media Commerce Marketing Officer for all countries in the region. He currently serves as Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at OSC TOP SOLUTIONS GROUP for 16 countries in the Americas.
He has also been part of the LAC-IX Steering Committee and the NAP Colombia Executive Committee.
