LACNIC 45: Location and Dates Update

Dear friends and members of the community,

Following recent events in Mexico, in Jalisco and other states, and after careful consideration of the situation, we have decided to relocate the LACNIC 45 event to Panama. As a result, the LACNIC 45 event will now take place from May 25 to 28, 2026, at the Westin Playa Bonita Panama hotel.

The safety of our community and our team is our highest priority. We understand this decision affects the planning of every person and organization intending to join us, so we wanted to share this update as soon as possible to allow you to adjust your participation and travel arrangements accordingly.

This was not an easy decision. We deeply regret that we will not be able to hold this event in Mexico. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Mexican community for their tremendous support throughout these months of preparation, as well as for their understanding and collaboration in recent days.
