Edmundo Cázarez

Edmundo Cázarez-López is a Computer Systems Engineer with a master’s degree in Computer Science, as well as studies in Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. He has been a member of both the LACNOG Program Committee and the LACNOG Board.

With training across multiple areas, he has built his career through a wide range of roles, including Internet systems developer, server and network administrator, and team and resource manager.

Since 2011, he has served as Internet Number Resources Manager at NIC Mexico, frequently participating in LACNIC events. He has a strong interest in policy development, having presented several policy proposals, as well as in Internet monitoring and observability.
