Update on the Location of LACNIC 46 - LACNOG 2026

It is with regret that, due to the recent situation in Guatemala, our LACNIC 46 - LACNOG 2026 event, scheduled for October, will be relocated to a different location.

In light of the current circumstances in the country and the exceptional measures announced by the Guatemalan authorities in January 2026, we believe it is necessary to relocate the LACNIC 46 - LACNOG 2026 event to ensure the safety and participation of our community. Implementing a change of location at this time allows us to minimize the impact on the local, regional, and global community.

We deeply appreciate the efforts and commitment of the Guatemalan community, and we will continue to work with them to bring the event to Guatemala in a future edition, when conditions permit.

Details about the new location will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.
