INFORMATION ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Biography:
Marcela Orbiscay holds a degree in Information Systems specializing in Telematics and a degree in Public Administration. She currently works at CONICET – Mendoza and is a member of GridTICs UTN, where she conducts research on IPv6 and IoT. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Internet Society Argentina, co-chair of the IETF Day Workshop at JAIIO-SADIO, and co-chair of the LACNOG IoT list. She has also served as a mentor in LACNIC's Mentoring Program and been part of the LACNOG program committee. Marcela has been actively involved with LACNIC and LACNOG since 2011, gaining experience in Internet governance and the policy development process.
Information relevant to the position:
Marcela has served as co-chair of the LACNIC Policy Development Process for the past two years, ensuring that procedures are followed and the proper management of policy proposals. Her experience in Internet governance and her commitment to the PDP will allow her to continue contributing to the development and strengthening of the process.

Reason for the nomination: Marcela Orbiscay has demonstrated great dedication and expertise in her role as co-chair of the LACNIC PDP during the past two years. Her experience in Internet governance and policy development and analysis has been key for the proper functioning of the process.

Biography:
Oscar Gonzalez is a Systems Engineer with a distinguished track record in data protection and digital privacy advocacy. He is an active member of the Internet Society and has participated in international programs, including workshops organized by various chapters, the LACNIC Policy Fellows program, and the virtual edition of the South School on Internet Governance in Argentina. He is co-founder of IoT CiberSec LAC.
Information relevant to the position:
Oscar has actively participated in initiatives such as LACNIC's Policy Fellows program, which have allowed him to strengthen his knowledge of the policies governing the regional digital ecosystem. His experience as an international researcher for LACNIC and his participation in the Policy Shapers Program reflect his commitment to the protection of digital rights and Internet governance.

Name: Jenifer López de Gómez

His experience in digital policy development and his commitment to privacy protection have led him to actively participate in key initiatives for the region.

Biography:
Tomas Lynch has a degree in Electronics Engineering by the University of Buenos Aires and a master's in Engineering Management from Florida International University (FIU). He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of telecommunications with a focus on the region of Latin America. He has primarily worked as a network engineer at ImpSat (currently Cirion), Ericsson, Globenet, and Claro, and he is currently Senior Network Architect at Vultr. He regularly participates in LACNIC meetings and has been a member of the LACNOG Program Committee.
