Ignacio Ribeiro

Ignacio Ribeiro is an noted professional in the field of telecommunications with a solid career focused on providing communication solutions. He has been involved in telecommunications since the 90's, specializing in VoIP telephony projects and contributing significantly to the advancement of this sector in Argentina.

As founder and director of Llamada IP SRL, an Argentine company offering telephone and Internet services since 2004, and his active participation in key associations such as the Argentine Internet Chamber (CABASE), Ribeiro has established strong relationships with carriers, providers, and colleagues, both internationally and particularly in Latin America.

He has served as the head of CABASE’s IP Telephony and Portability Commission since 2017, promoting critical initiatives such as the publishing of a new Interconnection Agreement and the creation of the TEL XP Interconnection Point. He also helped establish agreements with the government for the interconnection of COVID emergency lines (2020) and has been an integral part of the portability ABD update process, which facilitated fixed number portability in 2022. In 2023, he worked on simplifying geographic areas and the elimination of national long-distance fees. These positions underscore his commitment to strengthening telecommunications infrastructure in Argentina and his dedication to technological innovation.
