2023 Elections: LACNIC Fiscal Commission

The LACNIC Board recommends not mass messaging contacts obtained from the LACNIC database for campaigning purposes. Likewise, the LACNIC Board reminds everyone that the purpose of the LACNIC mailing lists is to discuss specific topics and that they should therefore not be used to campaign during elections.

LACNIC Members: Internet Service Providers (ISP), End Users, and Founding Members.

To be eligible to vote, an organization must be current with its membership fees at the closing of the voters’ registry on the date specified in this year's schedule (the voters’ registry is the list of organizations authorized to vote).

Each member organization has a designated representative registered in the LACNIC database (NIC Brasil – NIC México). This is the organization's membership contact, and this person:

May vote through the MiLACNIC Portal: milacnic.lacnic.net * 

* This option is not available for organizations in Brazil, as they do not have access to MiLACNIC.

Each member is fully responsible for the veracity and updating of their membership contact's name and email address, as well as of the rest of the information included in the LACNIC database (NIC Brasil – NIC México).

Online voting will be conducted using LACNIC's election software.

The number of votes for each organization ranges from 1 to 11, depending on their membership category (the IP address space the organization has been assigned):
