Over the years, Alejandro Guzmán Giraldo has more than demonstrated that he has the proper qualifications and required leadership skills. He also has deep knowledge of the community and has deservedly earned their recognition. Not only has this motivated his participation as a member of the Board, but he is currently serving as Chairman of the LACNIC Board of Directors.

Esteban Lescano has extensive knowledge and experience in Internet governance initiatives and spaces at both a regional and a global level. He has a Law degree from Universidad Austral, a Master's degree in Business Rights from UFV University in Spain, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Austral in Argentina. Since 2002, he teaches The Right to Information at the University of Buenos Aires. He is a partner at Lescano & Etcheverry Abogados, a law firm that specializes in the legal and regulatory aspects of ICT services. Since 2010, he is the head of the Legal Commission at CABASE, where he constantly participates in public policy debates related to Internet development in both Argentina and the LAC region.
