Childcare Services during LACNIC 32

To encourage parents of young children to participate, LACNIC will offer an on-site childcare service during the LACNIC 32 event to be held in Panama on 7 to 11 October.

This initiative seeks to promote the in-person participation of community members with children at LACNIC events.

The service will be provided by local producer WOW in two different formats, one for children 1 months to 5 years of age, the other for children aged 6 to 12. Qualified childminders and entertainers will be responsible for the children and organize activities such as arts, crafts, music, recycling, sports and movement workshops.

A room will be set up specifically for this purpose at the Megapolis Convention Center Panama, and the service will be available Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 18:30.

Registration for the on-site childcare service closes on 6 September. The service will be free of charge for children of event participants who are duly registered, but the number of places is limited.
