Andre Guimaraes is Regional Manager for Latin America at Finisar. Andre holds a physics degree, MSc and PhD in optoelectronics from Campinas State University (UNICAMP) in Brazil. For the last 19 years, he has contributed to the market development and the introduction of several optical technologies throughout Latin America, including novelty optical fibers, DWDM platforms and connectivity solutions. Prior to joining Finisar, he held several telecom product marketing and business development positions in high-tech companies like Corning, Huawei and 3M.
