The idea is to identify priorities on which the region should focus, particularly the Caribbean, so that the various stakeholders can better direct their efforts.

In the Caribbean there is a very complex network of submarine cables owned by different operators and connecting different territories. This is a great opportunity for the Caribbean islands, as it allows the region to put an end to its natural isolation while benefitting from this situation in terms of favoring the population's wellbeing, providing global services, and diversifying risk (due to the geological and climatic phenomena that affect the region).

This panel aims at identifying initiatives for cable operators, IXPs and content distribution networks that will benefit the region.
