This session will explain the economic principles of Internet traffic routing, the growth-path of the Internet Service Provider business, and the role that Internet Exchange Points play as the economic engine of Internet bandwidth creation.

Biografía

Bill Woodcock has been the Research Director of Packet Clearing House, a non-profit research institute non-profit research institute that supports operations and analysis in the areas of Internet traffic exchange, routing economics, and global network development, since 1994. Bill also ran a commercial international ISP network from 1989 until 2001.
