INTERNS for Research and Development Projects and Operation of IT Services

Responsibilities:

Research and development

• Software development and maintenance

• Supporting the development of research projects relating to Internet technology

Operation of IT services

• Building and using monitoring tools

• Providing user support for various IT tools

Required Skills:

Technical

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Java or Python)

• Knowledge of software versioning and revision control tools (SVN)

• Database management

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks

• Basic knowledge of LINUX operating systems

 General

• Team work

• Oral and written communication skills

• Dynamic and proactive personality

Qualifications

Advanced Information Technology students

Languages

• Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written

• Basic knowledge of English preferred (but not required)

• Basic knowledge of Portuguese preferred (but not required)
