VP Network Strategy at Fastly. He leads the area in charge of the strategy, planning, acquisition, and implementation of the Fastly Global Network.

Before joining Fastly he spent 11 years with Google and his last position was Director of Interconnection and Content Distribution for Americas, Australia, Pacific and India. He was in charge of the planning, negotiation and management of projects related to the development of infrastructure for content distribution in the regions in charge, including Latin America and the Caribbean.

Between 2008 and 2012 he served as Business Line Manager and Senior Product Development Specialist at Internexa and between 2003 and 2008 as Senior Product Development Engineer at Edatel (today UNE / Tigo).

He was a member of the executive committees of the NAP Colombia and the NAP Inca of Peru. He was also a member of the initial board of directors of the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators group LACNOG and the Latin American Association of Traffic Exchange Points LAC-IX.

He is an Electronic Engineer and is a specialist in telecommunications from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. He has a degree in Corporate Governance from Kellogg Northwestern University. He is a specialist in Project Management from the Universidad Católica del Norte and a specialist in Marketing Management from the Universidad de Medellín. Additionally, he has degrees in finance, strategic negotiation, telecommunications regulation, and product development.

In the teaching area, he has been an undergraduate and postgraduate professor at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad de Antioquia and Universidad de Medellín, among others.
