Program:

Theory and practice on:

  • Assigning IPv6 addresses to network operators
  • Addressing
  • Transition mechanisms
  • Routing protocols
  • IPv6 service (DNS, e-mail, www) configuration
  • IPv6 Security

Cost:

The workshop is free of charge, with preference given to organizations in Costa Rica, Belice, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicargua and Panamá that are implementing IPv6 or planning to implement IPv6 within a period of 6 months.

Requisitos:

  • Knowledge of IPv4 addressing
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
  • Knowledge and configuration of the OSPF and BGP protocols
  • Being in the process of implementing IPv6 or planning to implement IPv6 in the short term
  • Preferably, having an assigned IPv6 prefix or being in the process for receiving one when registering for the workshop
