In this page you will find a price list containing both the initial and renewal cost of the resources according to their different categories and sizes.

In order to obtain the resource, the initial payment must be completed and the Registration Service Agreement must be signed. Starting the following year, LACNIC will charge an annual fee for resource renewal equivalent to the initial payment. This payment is due each year at the anniversary date of the resource allocation. LACNIC will issue the invoice 2 months in advance of the anniversary date. Payments made within this period (from the date of the invoice’s issue to the anniversary date) will receive a 10% discount. The discount will only apply for renewal payments from ISPs.

The additional allocation of resources has no cost, with the exception of allocations that generate a change in the category due to the new size of the IP block. In this case, the cost will correspond to the new category and will be billed in the following year invoice for resource renewal.

IMPORTANT: The membership renewal depends upon the payment of the annual maintenance fee; the service may be cancelled if no payment is made within the established term.

Currently, the initial payment for the allocation of an ASN is USD 500. The annual maintenance fee is USD 50 collected in advance every three years (USD 150). Starting on April 30, 2008 the cost of an ASN is USD 1,000. No cost will be billed for resource maintenance.

IPv4

IPv6

At the present time and until a new resolution of LACNIC's Board Of Directors, the organizations that qualify for receiving IPv6 blocks will be exonerated of payment.

This regulation is taken up as a way to promote the adoption of IPv6 in LACNIC´s coverage area as well as a response to several organizations that requested so.

In this way, LACNIC´s Board of Directors intends to respond to the needs of the regional Internet community.

IP Usuário Final

Se otorgará un descuento de 50% en los montos de membresia, a Organizaciones no gubernamentales sin fines de lucro, que a juicio de LACNIC sean consideradas como Usuarios Finales. En este ultimo caso los descuentos en la asignacion de direcciones IP aplicaran solamente si dichos
recursos son o serán utilizados en servicios que no tengan fines de lucro.

ASN

Membership

The anual membership fee is US$ 400,00. Important: Organizations which have IPv4 and/or IPv6, will be automatically considered as LACNIC's members, therefore, no need to pay the membership fee.

Organizations holding resources from ARIN should also sign LACNIC Registration Services Agreement.

Transfers

In accordance with the LACNIC's Board of Director's resolution, the transferences of IP and ASN addresses are exempt of cost.

Starting July 1st 2003, ASN and address space transfer cost is U$S 250 (Two hundred and fifty American dollars). If an organization is transferring both ASN and IP address space, the ASN transfer is free of charge.

If an end-user receives an ASN, the organization must pay the annual maintenance fee according to the terms.

IP addresses transferred to ISPs are included in the total ISP allocation. After that, the amount of the honorarium to be paid will be determined.
