Third Network Security Event for Latin America and the Caribbean
The aim of this event is to bring together, the most important actors involved in the issue of network security in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Through a process of presentations, discussions and debates, the intent is to try to define the main challenges relating to network security around the word and particularly within the region, to clarify the relevance of CERTs in relation to network security, to establish what roles Internet Service Providers should have in the matter of security, to determine what type of intra-regional coordination should exist and what characteristics it should have, etc.
This effort of coordinated activities involving network security issues within our region will have the participation of regional and worldwide experts; these experts will present their points of view through individual presentations which will lead the way to debates that will allow the definition of concrete actions.
This meeting is completely open to all those who wish to participate.
