CANDIDATES NOMINATED TO SERVE IN THE CONTROL ORGAN

LACNIC call for candidates to serve in the Control Organ for a term of two years, according to its bylaws.

This organ shall be made up of three members, who shall be elected at the Ordinary General Assembly to be held on April 24, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the SOFOFA Conference Center, Santiago de Chile, Chile.

LACNIC's General Assembly shall be held within the framework of LACNIC IV, event where Tutorials and an Open Policy Meeting are also scheduled.

All persons interested in being part of this organ must be nominated by a member of LACNIC and supported at least by two other members. By member it is understood a person authorized by his/her organization to exercise membership rights. In other words, the person designated as his/her organization's "membership contact" on LACNIC's system.

The deadline for nominating candidates for this positions is April 14, 2003, at 5:00 p.m. Uruguay time (UTC -2).
