This is an open call for nominations from the LACNIC region to fill one (1) seat on the NRO Number Council to cover the vacancy generated by the position of  Francisco Obispo who ends his term as representative of  LACNIC region on December 31st 2011. The elected representative must be willing to serve a term of three years starting on January 1st 2012.

The seat will be filled by an individual nominated through this open call. The selection process will involve an open election to be held on May 20, 2011 during the LACNIC XV meeting in the city of Cancun, Mexico.

* Election scheduled: May 20th, 2011 during LACNIC Open Policy Forum
