In December 2003, the ORT University and LACNIC signed an agreement for performing specific cooperation activities between both institutions. These actions are materialized, for example, through the planning and execution of research and development activities, training courses for LACNIC staff, internships for students or graduates of the ORT University at LACNIC, exchange of technical and bibliographical information, etc.

This agreement is valid for three years, and it is automatically renewable.
