Policy Shepherds
The goal of this Policy Shepherd initiative is to help new authors submit their policy proposals.
New authors may need some assistance because they have never drafted a policy proposal. As such LACNIC is now offering the help of a policy shepherd to those persons who feel that they may benefit from such guidance.
Policy shepherds are individuals who participate regularly in the LACNIC community and have experience in the Policy Development Process. For example, they may have authored one or more policies, they may be former discussion moderators or they may have engaged actively in policy discussions otherwise.
