LACNIC Representatives to the ASO and Review Committee
LACNIC announces that this past January 1st Jorge Villa renewed his term as Latin American and Caribbean region representative to the NRO Number Council (NRO NC/ASO). His new term will conclude on January 31st, 2020.
Villa’s was the only name submitted in response to the open call for candidates to fill a vacancy on the NRO NC corresponding to the LACNIC region. His election was announced on May 24, 2017, at the LACNIC Public Policy Forum.
Meanwhile, Esteban Lescano began his term as LACNIC community representative to the ASO Review Committee (RC) on January 1st. Lescano was the only candidate running for this position, and his election was announced at the Public Policy Forum held during the LACNIC 27 event. Lescano will fill the seat previously occupied by Edmundo Cazárez, whose term ended on 31st December.
Lescano will be one of the two LACNIC representatives on the RC until December 31st, 2019.
