Lima set to receive the LACNIC community in May

The Internet Addresses Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean (LACNIC) and the Peruvian Scientific Network (administrator of the .pe ccTLD) are pleased to announce that LACNIC's upcoming event, LACNIC 23, will be held in the city of Lima.

The Latin American and Caribbean Internet community will meet on 18-22 May at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center for LACNIC 23, a space designed for networking and sharing experiences as well as for keeping up with key regional and global Internet news and issues.

Highlights of the event include several new activities such as the Women and IT meeting, the OEM panel, presentations of real life IPv6 implementation cases, and the forum for discussing the transition stewardship of the IANA functions.
