"Great Place to Work 2015": LACNIC among the Greatest Places to Work

For the fourth consecutive year, LACNIC has been included among the best places to work in Uruguay according to the ranking prepared by international consultants Great Place to Work.

This year, LACNIC took the sixth place in this prestigious award in the category of up to 150 employees.

LACNIC's commitment to the open and collaborative construction of an excellent working environment is in line with the organization's goals and objectives.

Oscar Robles, LACNIC's CEO, welcomed the honor and stressed the commitment and effort of each member of the organization for making this a great place not only for professional but also for personal development.

He noted that by its very nature LACNIC engages every part of the organization at every level in order to generate a fluid exchange of proposals, opinions and ideas.

In turn, Felix Fernandez, People Development Manager at LACNIC, added that this recognition was the result of the work and professionalism with which all those who are part of the organization perform their daily tasks.

This study is conducted annually by Great Place to Work® in over 45 countries worldwide. In 2015, LACNIC was ranked among the best companies to work for in Uruguay.

The analysis conducted by Great Place to Work is the most in-depth and well-respected study on workplace excellence and leadership practices.

Since 2003, it publishes its ranking for Uruguay based on the same methodology it uses in the rest of the world: surveying employees regarding the level of trust and the quality of the relationships between them and management, and evaluating company policies and practices.

This new award comes on the heels of the DERES Recognition for Best CSR Practices LACNIC received last week in the Quality of Working Life category for its monthly briefings involving the organization's entire staff.
